Fire Chief Christopher Tell
Meet Fire Chief Christopher Tell

Chief Tell joined The Swansea Fire Department as an Explorer in July 1993. Chief Tell became a Volunteer Firefighter in December 1993 and became the Full Time Deputy Chief in 2001. He was most recently named Fire Chief in September 2018. Chief Tell joined The Swansea Fire Department with the ambition to help those in the community he was born and raised in. In addition to obtaining his Fire Training, he also became an EMT and then went on to obtain his Paramedic license. Chief Tell said there are too many memorable calls to list, however, The Saint Matthews Church Fire on Good Friday still stands out to him to this day. We thank Chief Tell for his dedication and service to The Village of Swansea and the surrounding communities.
